MARBLE HORNETS - Something familiar

It was a night when I delved head first into what I previously had no knowledge of. Although this was the case, It was partly a lie. Something about Marble Hornets rang familiar bells in my head. I know now that I had at least seen the Marble Hornets tapes sometime in the far past of my life, I couldnt tell you exactly when, but I knew it was early in my life. I knew of the slenderman, but not Marble Hornets. That night when I watched season 1 and part of season 2 (I think), is when it all began. To this day, Marble Hornets still, every once in a while, gains my attention. Its a ghost constantly hovering over me. Not to say this is a haunting, but its something I'm familiar with that refuses to let go. And although the story is fictional, a part of me still believes its real to a degree. One could say that MH is more real than anything else. The lines that contain it are far too blurred to see when reality and fiction begin. Even in my awareness of why this has had an effect on me as it has, and why I love Marble Hornets, I think there will always be a section left as indescribable. Something that is less than describing in words . . . . Something unconscious perhaps.

I have been a Marble Hornets fan for about 5 years now. But I've always been a fan of stories like it. After I discovered Marble Hornets, it was inevitable that I would find what came after it; The Slenderverse. Ive never been the same ever since. I think I will always be a fan of Marble Hornets and the Slenderverse. Its one of those things that has universal appeal throughout all of ones life. Something about it, the characters, the story, the scary moments, the sad ones, etc, all strike us at our core as human beings. The fact that these guys had a vision for something and set out to make something with it is very inspiring. Not just for myself, of course. Marble Hornets inspired others down the line to create the Slenderverse, and their own stories within it! I think, and will always consider that to be powerful in and of itself. One can't help to step back and say "Wow!"
